Spring Airbnb Project
The project was designed as a calm retreat that encourages slowing down and reconnecting with the present moment. A diagonal ceiling line rising from the balcony toward the kitchen shapes the apartment’s sense of movement, openness, and vertical spaciousness.

Originally a neglected apartment with a compact layout, the space revealed its potential through one defining feature - a large, light-filled balcony.

The original kitchenette was transformed into a spacious two-sided kitchen centered around a large island facing the balcony view. Additional storage was integrated into the vertical space above the kitchen and the kitchen color palette was composed to evoke feelings of joy, creativity, and blooming energy.

Natural materials such as timber, jute, linen, and oriental-inspired textiles were selected to create warmth, softness, and a connection to nature. Wooden panels wrap the TV wall and follow the curves of the vaulted ceiling, emphasizing the apartment’s diagonal geometry and continuous upward movement.
A custom shelving system showcases local art and objects, connecting the apartment to its cultural surroundings.

The bathroom was designed as a quiet retreat flooded with soft natural light. A generous walk-in shower, fluted timber vanity, and oval basin create an atmosphere of openness and tranquility.

In the compact bedroom, vertical storage was added above the bed to maximize functionality while maintaining an intimate, cozy atmosphere. A sliding door replaced the original hinged door to optimize space and improve circulation. The room captures warm evening light and the apartment’s most beautiful sunsets.
